As interpretations differ, I would say that any hexagram obtained from the oracle will refer to the interpretation the caster has in mind, in withinsilence's case the interpretation by Walker. Presumably the oracle knows it will be that one.
The Reifler interpretation was not given by the oracle. Possibly sometimes someone might need a bit of stroking, and then might get hex 61, if they are going to use Reifler.
The moral of the story: if you want to be stroked, use Reifler; otherwise don't. But don't bank on it, not all the oracles are stroking, even in Reifler's book!

I don't get the ego thingy form the oracle at all. It is simply teaching a way of life. It is teaching from the divine, unity, oneness, peace, and not from separation (ego). There is no one is above another as I see it in the teaching but a call to understanding, patients and gentleness which produces what? You can't see past ego thoughts or judgments and into the depth of the room untill you check yours at the door.

A desire to lead is ego talking. The ego is forced to look for followers, because without them there is no leading.
