what is ... the only thing constant? Is it change, or something else?

irregardless of how much older I get, or how much situations change, there seems to something in the background which never changes. like bedrock; which never moves, never changes. but at the surface, in the soil, a multitude of things rise and fall.

say someone close to you dies, or your house burns down, or you get fired from your job, or even something as minor as the power going out while you're watching your favorite show

being resistant to change causes distress
but as the change becomes accepted the distress dissipates

I'm more open-minded than ever, so I joined the AgnosticsInternational.net Forum - I like it a lot.

I now see reincarnation as a possibility, and as for the future, I am open to both possibilities:
1. It has already happened, so freedom is absolutely zero;
2. It is still to be created, in which case freedom will also be absolutely zero.

reincarnation a possibility? what isn't possible within creation?
are there only two possibilities or is there possibly a third or forth?

If one is able to be "open", does this not imply freedom or choice?

perception is within the mind of the beholder. ;D
