So are we all separate beings of consciousness or one original consciousness that is expressing itself through us or neither? What are we or what is that which animates all 7billion of these bodies that seemingly can't get along?

My vote: One consciousness, manifesting its self in a great many forms not all of which play well with others

I agree we are all individual expressions of the original consciousness playing varying roles in a giant movie (drama) for the "soul" purpose of experience.

Yes and no, my parents did not go to church but believed in Jesus as a savior. I personally took up studying Christianity because something in me knew that there is more to life than trying to "exist" get a boring job and die and then be judged as to go to a place called heaven or hell. I knew that something "stunk" in this religion and spent many years studying it to find the truth of who wrote the Bible, why it was written why certain books were chosen and others not, why someone has the power to limit me from reading certain books (they must be hiding something) so I went on a multi year quest of research. Originally I was in fear and chose to believe in the savior story out of fears compulsion.
Needless to say I had some higher self experiences in my life that has changed all of what I used to blindly believe and accept as the truth, and my research as provided to me the truth of who Jesus was and his simple message which is really a course in psychology, how the mind works and to simply "know thyself" inwardly.

popee, you ever watch Bashar, or read Elias, Abraham, Seth or Ra, any of the law of one stuff? If so what do you think about it?

Yeah, read the Seth material, and some of that Law of One stuff. It was certainly interesting, but I never could fully "buy in".
I was enthralled with many of those "alternative" propositions for a while, but none of it "felt like" truth to me, so I moved on in a different direction. Shortly thereafter I started reading Tolle, then Nisargadatta, and that type of material seemed to suit me better.
I might take another look at it now though. This current version of me is substantially different than that earlier person. Night and day different, really.
Got any links to your favorite bits?

yes, I have found that what watched or read a few years ago when I read or watch it now I see it in a different light or actually it makes more sense to me. Everything (religion, spirituality, enlightenment, etc.) that I have studied all point towards man's thoughts, mind, consciousness, psychology, awareness, that which is within us or that which brings about the reality we all perceive. I say if man can believe he is separate, why can't he believe he's not? If we can believe we have limits, why can't we believe we don't? What besides ourselves stops us from doing or experiencing anything we choose to? thesecrettruthabout.com/bashar/bashar-videos/www.eliasweb.at/check them out if you like. What I find interesting is that all of these "channeled" energies are all saying the same thing, we are all one originating consciousness in varying levels, forms and able to create our own world and are actually always doing just that. What's funny is the Bible says's the same thing in the simple quote; "So a man thinks, so is he!" and "as we do to others, so we do to our self" its simple really.
