"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will know peace." Jimmy Hendrix
“Let this be the criterion always: anything that makes you festive, anything that gives you celebration, anything that makes you dance and sing to such an extent that you disappear in your dancing, in your singing, in your celebration... is the only true religion I know of." Osho
There is not one big cosmic meaning for all, there is only the meaning we each give to our life, an individual meaning, an individual plot, like an individual novel, a book for each person. Anais Nin
Participate joyfully in the sorrows of the world. We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy. Joseph Campbell
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to a job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, car and the house that you leave empty all day in order to afford to live in it. Ellen Goodman

A few quotes from "The awakened one"-Buddha
In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true.
To conquer oneself is a greater victory than to conquer thousands in a battle.
A dog is not considered a good dog because he is a good barker. A man is not considered a good man because he is a good talker.
Do not dwell in the past, do not dwell in the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. Be where you are; otherwise you will miss your life.
The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Quote: “The muddled life sees not through the turbid world of thoughts. Only when one sits still and silent and stops stirring the clouded mind will the muddy water return to its perfect clarity.”
"It amazes me that those who believe they're not evil justify the killing of those they believe are evil, when the only evil is to be found within ignorant beliefs."

THE 'WEI WU WEI' ARCHIVES www.weiwuwei.8k.com/bits.htmlThe Saint is a man who disciplines his ego. The Sage is a man who rids himself of his ego.
We do not possess an 'ego'. We are possessed by the idea of one.
When you give a shilling to a beggar - do you realise that you are giving it to yourself?
When you help a lame dog over a stile - do you realise that you yourself are being helped?
When you kick a man when he is down - do you realise that you are kicking yourself?
Give him another kick - if you deserve it!
Why are you unhappy? Because 99.9 per cent Of everything you think, And of everything you do, Is for yourself - And there isn't one.
There seem to be two kinds of searchers: those who seek to make their ego something other than it is, i.e. holy, happy, unselfish (as though you could make a fish unfish), and those who understand that all such attempts are just gesticulation and play-acting, that there is only one thing that can be done, which is to disidentify themselves with the ego, by realising its unreality, and by becoming aware of their eternal identity with pure being.
There is no mystery whatever - only inability to perceive the obvious.

Quotation from Pablo Cassals on Children:
"Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that never was before and never will be again. And what do we teach our children in school? We teach them that two and two make four and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also ask them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all of the world there is no other child exactly like you. In the millions of years that have passed, there has never been a child like you. And look at your body - What a wonder it is; your legs, your arms, your cunning fingers, the way you move! You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you a marvel? You must cherish one another. You must work - we all must work - to make this world worthy of its children."
What a different world it may be if only people would awaken to and then tell others this simple truth that Pablo Cassals so beautifully states: "You have the capacity for anything."
Man has shown the truth in this statement in the amazing and profound destructive capabilities of the nuclear and biological weapons he imagined and can now cast with pinpoint accuracy.
Now I ask, why can't he show its opposite?

I can't say why, but maybe he is doing quite well enough for the present? Do we not have enough genii? Do we not need both sides, the dark and the light?

Taken from the Secret Doctrin, Vol 1. - H. P. Blavatsky
"What is it that ever is?" "Space, the eternal Anupadaka." "What is it that ever was?" "The Germ in the Root." "What is it that is ever coming and going?" "The Great Breath." "Then, there are three Eternals?" "No, the three are one." "That which ever is is one." "That which ever was is one." "That which is ever being and becoming is also one: and this is Space."
"Even viewed as an absolute void, Space must be admitted to be either Self-existent, infinite and Eternal, or to have had a first cause outside, behind and beyond itself."
or as the Early Christians Apostles knowingly decleared:
"In Him we live and move and have our being."

I can't say why, but maybe he is doing quite well enough for the present? Do we not have enough genii? Do we not need both sides, the dark and the light? The mind says yes, we need separation, judgment and war. The heart says no, we need unity, compassion and peace. IT IS when these two become one and meet at the center that one will know that they ARE necessary, for without these extremes one cannot return back to the original. Such is the function of the mystery of life. At the moment I am unbalanced toward the heart but ever aware of it, as I climb ever higher on the arm of the pendulums swing on this return trip back toward the center of the circle. I selfishly long to bring those lost souls to the extremes of the heart, thus one day to reside eternally at the center. Think not I don't know that my effort is futile as one cannot force a blind man to see, but one can help to guide him across an open hole. A debt is to be paid, for no longer divided am I, and for a time I will make my installments with the stroke of my pen and the thoughts of my heart, until one day only silence shall remain.

And every one is playing his allotted role for the moment to perfection, nobody can do any wrong, every thing is perfectly on track according to the divine plan.
What you are doing for a time, for this time, is, like every thing else, perfect. Nothing is ever futile, though we imagine it is.

agree everything is perfect, just as it is
problems don't exist, except as imaginary mentations
which come with a price that must be paid

The verb meaning of the word perfect is; "to bring to full development" so I would say as a verb I agree, as every thing is presently being brought to full development but has yet to return...... to the nines.

not time, evolution of consciousness. Life ever changes , time stands still, thus life is being non-being......brought (evolving) to the nines.
ALL fragmented manifested life has yet to return to "siddhah" or the nines.
I would say, the present "world" resides not at the fulcrum or balance point of the polarities, or is not within the essence of Tao, or "it" is but yet is unaware of it.
Does life need light and darkness for life to be? The obvious answer is yes it seems but why? Could it be life without them? Without opposites what does one be or what is one?
