Don't worry, tat, the story about YOUR wise men will be concocted in due course, probably about 300 years after your death hehe Lol...whatever Gurth, it's too late to make up platitudes hehehe Your 76 right? And and and astrologer? You totally dropped the ball on this... You soooo could have been one of my three wise men.... I'm pretty sure you owe me some Mir with about 40 years worth of interest lol

I dunno WS....If you take away the discriptors of the Wellbeing category, and just take it to mean a care for the wellbeing of others and yourself, I'd say it fits really well... And talkative with linguistic talents... That certainly describes you, at least at these forums, you make, or at least made a lot of eloquent posts...and pulsation: deals with the ebbs and flows of life concienciously
I've seen you field a little criticism and take it wonderfully constructively and in stride
I'd say with a few minor adjustments in the interpretation of one of the words it fits pretty good...

WOW, tat thanks. With you putting it that way they do make sense. It was the descriptors that were throwing me off. This is my biggest hangup, looking in the forest and not seeing the trees. lol Thank you for showing me the trees I walked past. hehe
I think tat's got a great point here Gurth, its how this information, or the words are interpreted as I was looking at the descriptors to define the name which those descriptors didn't explain my specific interests or personality but the names themselves can imply many different meanings which tat showed with me?

I agree, tat and WS. Maybe we should take the descriptors with a pinch of salt, astrology shouldn't try to define things too exactly imo. It should leave room for the imagination.

I appear to have a propensity for challenging people's strong opinions and ideas...for whatever reasons the strongest opinions often seem to be directed at me over there...I challenge most of the strongly attached to ideas and opinions And I find a good bit of humor in flying in the face of people's beliefs about what someone should be like...if your not beholden to your own ego or fears or concerns your not beholden to anybody else's either hehehe I'm playing at little bit of Bodidharma putting his shoe on top of his head and walking away laughing the first time he met the Emporer of China lol Osho summed it up nicely when asked about poking fun at Mother Theresa and Ghandi...he said: I'm totally free from myself, which means I'm totally free from everybody else, so I'm free to say whatever I find myself saying lol.

As to the screen name, it was the only thing that seemed to fit at the time...Tahthagata: going and comming from suchness...describes it about right...what's egotistical about that lol
Now Tirthankara, that would be an egotistical screen name hehehe

- Showing the soul's purpose. Is it:
1. Advanced. (Warm, sympathetic, tends to be ahead of his time and his associates. Franklin Moon, Edison Saturn.)
2. Truth. (Seeks and works for truth and fair play. Usually open and honest, they expect others to be also. Lincoln & Darwin Jupiter, Rooseveldt Neptune.)
3. Unsteady. (One who waxes and wanes, blows hot and cold, seldom stays on one tack for long. Easily swayed by others, sometimes seeks refuge in drugs or alcohol. Mozart Uranus.)

True North Node is 21 degrees 18' Pisces in house 4? Is this what my karmic flavors are on this trip? Areas of my life I need to develop? If this is true then I would say #3 for me as that was the old me if that makes sense?

Yes WS, True NN is 21 degrees Pisces, in the first place your NN is Pisces, that's for sure while the Degrees are maybe not yet so sure...
Problem is, I don't use the True Node (never trust a jackal who praises his own tail!); I'd prefer to use a node that called itself false! But in the absence of a "False" node, I'll settle for the Mean Node. If you stipulate Mean Node in the details list, then you'll get the horseshoe symbol without the pretentious little T in it. Your Mean NN is in 22- Pisces.
Same degree as tatha's Sun!!! Truth. That's what he is, and that's where you are headed.

Thank you Gurth. I was researching what; "The Degree of the North Node" was exactly and read the description that was cast for my supposed 21 degrees Pisces North Node. It gave me a description of traits I needed to work on in my life which reflected the word "Unsteady" which describes the first 30 or so years of my life. That all changed when I went through a radical transformation that on one hand I wouldn't wish the radical emotional trauma on my worst enemy but on the other hand has turned out to be the most liberating experience I have ever went through. I have always had an unquenchable thirst inside for truth. Even when I had not enough emptiness within my mind to know it, something inside me was always trying to show me or speak to me but I was to blind and deaf (caught up in thoughts) to ever see it or listen. That all changed about 4 years ago and I've never been the same since. Thank you for turning me onto Astrology as the more I study it the more I learn about my energies. hehe

Its funny that one of the oldest studies into the nature of man is not taken more seriously by society, at least American society. Due to Christianity I would guess. Astology I'm obviously talking about, why is this? If everything is one energy, one "life" then how can't the stars, planets etc. not be tied into all of us and have effects on our very natures? I was reading that in India there is a reference in the Rigveda to a constellation of the stars which would date the study of astrology back to at least 95,000 years ago. It must reveal something some don't want known or simply don't understand. I don't know?

The repulsion probably comes from resistance to the idea that the movement of the celestial bodies has a causation effect in having some kind of governing influence...I don't see astrology as being causal, rather, I see it as being diagnostic.
Meaning that the universe moves in rhythms and cycles, and that astrology is a good means to see an already existing pattern in the micro cycles of the individual by looking at the macro cycles of astrology...it's much like looking at the large pattern of a fractal can give some insight into the smaller patterns of the fractal that haven't been observed yet.
Maybe astrologers should stop using words like "you are going to be strongly influenced by Jupiter this month" and instead say something like, "the pattern of Jupiter indicates that this pattern might play out in this area of your life this month"
