Nothing is more incorrect than correctness.
(I am reading a book "Pathfinder" by Air Vice-Marshal D. C. T. Bennett.
How well I know the frustration of seeing people around me blundering their way through life out of sheer ignorance, compounded by stupidity and obstinacy - something that in wartime causes even more tears.
I think it illustrates my 'Thought' quite well!)( I wonder if this writer is a Capricorn? Let's see if he's in Wikipedia: ha ha, his Moon's in Capricorn! Same as Hitler and Napoleon! He he.
I saw a review of this book by some-one - I allowed it to provoke me to a comment on his review:
"A somewhat petty, pusillanimous (condescending), spiteful review. What's wrong with YOU today? What do you know about government anyway?
The man doesn't hide his faults: more power to him.
Maybe you don't use the word "I" so often yourself, but that doesn't stop your egotism from being blinding.
Nevertheless, you are also just human so I'll forgive you. And I agree with your 4-star rating."
Oh, by the way, this comment won't, I imagine, appear under the review anyway as I was not registered to comment I don't think. So it appears here!
As a sop to my own egotism I suppose. ;D (an overstatement. I don't have as many teeth as that!)
Edit: the review started:
"I didn't count how many times Bennett said "I" in his autobiography..."
- that's what I call petty and pusillanimous, condescending and spiteful... and it gets worse...
