Contradictions: logical incongruity; a situation in which inherent factors, actions, or propositions are inconsistent or contrary to one another.

Contradiction-"to speak against" In truth there is no contradictions only non-acceptance which is negation.

I see myself as changing every minute into a new person, one who can and often does contradict what he said a minute ago. That's also called changing one's mind, is that also what you have in mind?
Cancer people have a reputation for being complicated and contradictory. That's not quite the same thing. Not meant as speaking, but more as being. A sort of schizophrenia, perhaps, with different people inside oneself speaking against one another.

I don't see contradiction the same as changing ones mind. The prefix "Contra" means "against or "in opposition" so we are not in opposition of or against the "self" but just learn from experience that maybe our first choice was not wise thus we contradict ourself after the facts. Now, if you can't make a decision in the first place, then what is there to contradict? I see the literal meaning of "contradiction" as after ones exercised its volition and before this as "speculation" or changing ones mind before the choice.

Well I think we all sorted out the spiritual what's what pretty brilliantly. Leaving maybe not all that much left to say, apart from putting a few more details straight - which hardly matter anyway.
Hats off to our quorum of contributors who played their parts to perfection. After that we can certainly rest on our laurels.
Until spontaneously the chorus of birds breaks out for another morning or evening chorus.
We should I think, having done that job so well, in other words disposed of the most essential, and built such a solid foundation, now feel free to go beyond those narrow bounds implied by the name of this forum, and become more broadminded.
Let the world, meaning the real as well as the unreal, be our oyster. Let the games continue. How about a vote on "Shall we change our title, maybe to "Spiritual/unspiritual Views" or something else to that or other effect?" Your views please.

I think that opening the forum to spiritual/nonspiritual views would certainly broaden the horizon of topics to discuss and also help to allow those of us who choose to, incorporate our spiritual views into the "seemingly" nonspiritual physical world we all are presently playing in.
Look forward to discussing anything with anyone as I am always willing to learn and contemplate new ideas.

Soon as Gurth gives the 'go' to opening things up, I have one or two unbeliever's questions about astrology.

Hey, freethinker, any questions about astrology are always welcome anyway. You can post them on my thread "Astrology Corner" if you like.

"To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction"

Pretty simple stuff really. Examples are anywhere you care to look. Explains a great many things.

.....
"To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction"
This statement only applies to force (movement) on objects (material things) and nothing else.
In otherwords, if someone does harm to someone else, they are not going to get the same equal and opposite reaction from the person they've done harm to.
