"It has been said that the highest wisdom lies in detachment, or, in the words of Chuangzi: 'the perfect man employs his mind as a mirror; it grasps nothing; it refuses nothing; it receives, but does not keep.' Detachment means to have neither regrets for the past nor fears for the future; to let life take its course without attempting to interfere with its movement and change, neither trying to prolong the stay of things pleasant nor to hasten the departure of things unpleasant.
To do this is to move in time with life, to be in perfect accord with its changing music, and this is called Enlightenment. In short, it is to be detached from both past and future and to live in the eternal Now; by themselves they are illusions. Life exists only at this very moment, and in this moment it is infinite and eternal. For the present moment is infinitely small; before we can measure it, it has gone, and yet it persists for ever. This movement and change has been called Dao by the Chinese, yet in fact there is no movement, for the moment is the only reality and there is nothing beside it in relation to which it can be said to move. Thus it can be called at once the eternally moving and eternally resting.
How can we bring ourselves in accord with this Dao? A sage has said that if we try to accord with it, we shall get away from it. But he was not altogether right. For the curious thing is that you cannot get out of accord with it even if you want to; though your thoughts may run into the past or the future they cannot escape the present moment. However far back or forward they try to escape they can never be separated from the moment, for those thoughts are themselves of the moment; just as much as anything else they partake of, and, indeed, are the movement of life which is Dao.
You may believe yourself out of harmony with life and its eternal Now; but you cannot be, for you are life and exist now--otherwise you would not be here. Hence the infinite Dao is something which you can neither escape by flight nor catch by pursuit; there is no coming toward it or going away from it; it is, and you are it. So become what you are."

With blurred words we paint impressionist pictures... because all words are blurred... and we listen for the words behind the words, not taking them too much at face value, and all things become equally allowed, to accept or not accept, to accept or not accept the acceptance or the non-acceptance, because all things are equally inevitable.. :they either will happen or they won't.

Never forget: you hold all the power within you to choose how you want to feel today. Only unconditional acceptance of life as it is and not how you believe it should be offers lasting serenity.
When you swim against the current of life you suffer from resisting its natural path. Did you create the mystery of life as to know how it should be? Simply live each day as you would like to feel and see that its always been possible!

To return to the root is to find the meaning, but to pursue appearances is to miss the source. At the moment of inner enlightenment there is a going beyond appearance and emptiness. The changes that appear to occur in the empty world we call real only because of our ignorance. Do not search for the truth; only cease to hold opinions. Do not remain in the dualistic state; avoid such pursuits carefully. If there is a trace of this and that, the right and wrong, the Mind-essence will be lost in confusion. Although all dualities come from the One, do not be attached even to this One. When mind exists undisturbed in the Way, nothing in the world can offend, and when a thing can no longer offend it ceases to exist in the old way. When no discriminating thoughts arise, the old mind ceases to exist. Sosan

Remember: what one is today, does not need to be the same as it was yesterday, for at any moment one always has the infinite potentiality to be what it believes it cannot be simply by dropping its belief of limitation. Can one know its limitations without testing them? Will you test them if you believe you have them? Let not the fear of failure cast its limitations upon you, for if one never tries has it not already failed to know? -WS

Its not what one does that is sin, it is the fact that it knows not why it does what it does but believes it does, this is to be deceived. Thus, one is unaware, a puppet of the cunning mind, its deceiving thoughts are its god as thought seemingly controls its life. This level of consciousness is pointed to in the word devil, is "he" not the great deceiver? The reason for sin is simple: one simply forgot who it has always been. To remember is to forget who you believe you are and come to know what you are not. The wise start and end each moment with a good hearty belly laugh, and in-between enjoy the breath of life. If your tired of seeking and not finding, of suffering with no end in sight, then simply let go of yourself, of your conceptual identity and live as nothing, for it is said; to have everything, give everything up! What has one to lose except suffering and not having? Some time, eventually, maybe even as soon as tomorrow I'll come to realize what living in the present moment is like, but right now I'll just think about yesterday or maybe I'll imagine what it would be like to actually be in the present moment in the future. If you stop feeding ego your energy, it will go and dine elsewhere or it will die. This applies to yours also, the one that is saying right now; "I'm not egotistical, everyone else is, but not me!" Needing approval or acceptance from others is the result of not accepting yourself, if you accept you, who can take it away without your approval? What you believed you were yesterday does not need to be what you know you are right now and the only one who can truly know this new being is the one.

There is no-thing in control of your life but you. If you believe that some thing is controlling your life, then are you not giving it this power? Whose doing the believing, whose doing the thinking of this thought?
There is no control without submission. If you submit to anything outside of your being, you will remain its prisoner.
The day of your liberation dawns when one takes unconditional responsibility for its every thought.
Awareness of the presence within the ability to think is to know thyself. Awareness is presence.

"The further you go and search for truth, the farther you move away from it, the more distance you create. Stop going, there is nowhere to go to, nothing to get, just be now here as now here is nowhere with a gap between it!"
Be in the gap, between thoughts, before thinking, be aware of the stillness of an empty silent mind.
You may return to this refuge of serenity at anytime by simply taking over your breathing while observing your thoughts, just watch and they simply dissolve on their own.

"Your life is the fruit of your own doing, you have no one to blame but yourself." Joseph Campbell
"To eat of the fruit, of the tree, of the knowledge, of good and evil is....... to believe in the thought, in the mind, of duality or separation from God which is called (ego=Edging God Out) which is the cause of all suffering or original sin."
Meditate on this statement, break it down into parts; the fruit is representing what? The tree is representing what? good and evil are what? and to eat the result (fruit) of duality (good and evil) which grow on a tree (you or within the mind=thoughts) is to what?
But the knowledge of this, to understand this leads one to what?
You have been told in the past it was the original sin, but I tell you now it is original sin as it is originated every time you think you are separate from anything else, God is All and ALL is God!
