"We can observe this fact together, that thought and time are the root of fear. Time and thought are the same, they are not two separate movements. See this fact, this actuality, that time and thought, time-thought, are the root of fear. Just observe it in yourself. Don't move away from the reality, from the truth that fear is caused by time and thought. Hold it, remain with it, don't run away from it. It is so. Then it is like holding a precious jewel in your hand. You see all the beauty of that jewel. Then you will see for yourself that fear psychologically completely ends." Jiddu Krishnamurti

“The Lord and St. Peter are in heaven observing the actions on the earth on a television monitor. They're amazed by what they see; people are forever rushing about, ceaselessly digging and constructing, building large cities, everywhere busy, busy, busy, stressed out from early morning throughout the night. The Lord turns to St. Peter and asks incredulously; “What are they all doing, busy from morning till night, never resting, forever striving, battling, competing? WHy are they dloing that? What’s the point of it?”
St Peter replies, “Well Lord, these people are your followers, they believe in you and obey your holy word. And you supposedly told them to eat their bread by the sweat of their brows.”
And the Lord says to St. Peter; “But I never said or wrote that.”
So, St. Peter switches channels and they see a magnificent banquet hall with huge tables filled with expensive delicacies. There is caviar, every kind of meat, truffles and the finest wines and deserts. Hundreds of big men in purple robes and stupid fish looking hats are seated around the tables feasting, laughing, drinking cognac and smoking cigars. The Pope, Cardinals and Bishops are having a huge feast.
“But what about these people?” the Lord asks St. Peter, “they don’t seem to be eating their bread by the sweat of their brows. If you ask me, they seem to be having a jolly good time and enjoying natures free bounty.”
St. Peter says; “Well Lord, these are the ones who know you never said or wrote that, but have deceived all the others!”

Prayer is an act of doubt, of distrust, for if you truly trusted god’s plan then surely you wouldn’t need to pray for anything.

True morality is doing what’s right without the threat of divine punishment or the possibility of divine reward. If you need a book and a god to force you to act moral, what does this say about you?

So you believe an omnipotent god used his freewill to not use his power to simply forgive an evil humankind who he created in his image and likeness, and instead implements a solution which requires that he magically impregnate a teenage girl in order to give birth to himself so he can then have himself hung a cross to save human beings from the hell he created, and if you don’t believe this you then go to this hell? And you say we have free will? How can I have free will if I must spend eternity in hell for exercising my free will? That is not freedom, that’s coercion!

Why does god kill all those people in the bible, even babies, yet doesn’t kill satan?

If god gave man free will, then how can everything be part of god’s plan? If everything is part of god’s plan, how can we have free will?
